David Hoskin is a London-based comic, physical performer and mime working across contemporary clown, improvisation and live performance.

Trained at École Philippe Gaulier and shaped by teachers including Mick Barnfather, Elf Lyons and Jon Davison, his practice is rooted in rigorous physical craft, relational play and precise comic structure.

With a background in music (Anglia Ruskin) and visual art (Royal College of Art), David brings an image-led, spatially aware sensibility to performance. His work is cinematic yet immediate — attentive to composition, rhythm and game — and deeply responsive to the live audience.

He has collaborated with both emerging and award-winning performers across clown, comedy, and immersive theatre, and has worked as a vocal and performance coach and workshop leader in the UK and internationally for the past ten years.
